What's New At FFTA?

Saturday April 18, 2015. Come listen and learn and share at the 4th Annual APC Adoption Mini Conference. Please join us for an evening of learning and networking. Begin with light supper and choose from among 6 different workshops, spend time talking with been-there, done-that adoptive parents and network with a variety of adoption professionals - all in an intimate setting. Topics are planned that will appeal to both pre- and post-adopt families. See Joy S. Goldstein, LCSW, ACSW, Executive Director and co-founder of FFTA and co-founder Michael S. The rainbow flag endorses gay rights without making a statement about the person- it's an all-purpose symbol which can be used by anyone regardless of their own sexual orientation. This aspect has also made the rainbow flag useful for displaying in businesses which are "gay friendly," but which may not necessarily be owned or operated by a gay or bisexual person. This kind of equality and all- inclusiveness is what the gay rights movement strives for.
